DESCRIPTION:Step through the doors of the Central Criminal Court — universally known as the Old Bailey\, and one of the most famous courtrooms in the world for an evening designed to open doors of a different kind. \nOn 10 November 2026\, we’re bringing together Her Honour Judge Judy Khan KC and three senior female barristers for an honest\, behind-the-scenes conversation about what it really takes to build a career at the top of the legal profession. This isn’t a polished highlight reel. Our panel will speak candidly about the moments that first drew them to the law\, the setbacks and self-doubt they had to push through\, and the people and experiences that kept them going when the path got hard. \nFor anyone thinking about a career in law  whether you’re a student weighing up your options\, a young professional charting your next move\, or simply curious what a life in the courtroom really looks like\, this is a rare chance to hear it straight from the women shaping the profession today. Expect real talk on breaking into a competitive field\, navigating a career that hasn’t always been built with women in mind\, and what it takes to keep going and rise to the top. \nThe conversation doesn’t end when the panel does. All four speakers will stay on for a live Q&A\, so bring your questions;  about the job\, the journey\, or anything you’re wrestling with as you think about your own future.
