Laura has a vast amount of experience and knowledge in organisational development. I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a Bachelor of Education in Information Technology. I then furthered my professional development through undertaking a Masters of Arts in Education focusing on mentoring, coaching, leadership and learning. In addition to this, Laura is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Learning and Dvelopment and a Myers Briggs Type Indicator practitioner.
I have over 25 years’ experience in industry and the public sector, nine years in the U.A.E. working across a variety of sectors including educational institutions, central government, oil and gas and finance and banking. With an Information technology background, I have worked in several UK institutions such as HSBC and Shop Direct.
I am passionate about people development and I am able to draw on my extensive business experience coupled with knowledge of learning to have a greater understanding of the individuals, teams and organisations needs.
I place high value on loyalty, integrity and trust; never breaking client confidentiality. Consequently, regardless of the learning or development method being used, I offer a supportive, relaxed and enjoyable learning environment for everyone. I strive to provide an integrated, stimulating learning environment that enhances individual learning styles; my objectives are to make learning enjoyable while addressing learning styles and communication barriers, to develop effective learning that is inclusive and diverse.
