Jo Norris
Senior Human Resources Manager, Warner Bros.
Mentor (2019-2021)

I’m the Senior Human Resources Manager at Warner Bros. International Television Production, supporting the UK production companies. I started my career in Human Resources 10 years ago at All3Media, supporting around 14 TV production companies and joined Warner Bros. last year. I’ve always worked in HR in TV – I was hooked from my first day all those years ago. There is always so much to get stuck into and supporting a number of different teams and companies makes my role varied and challenging. I’m a generalist so I cover all aspects of HR from employee engagement, recruitment, talent retention, organisational development, employee relations and so on.

A significant part of my role has always been focussed on bringing diverse talent into the business via internships, traineeships and apprenticeships, nurturing that talent in the hope that they will continue to work for us in a Production role once they’ve completed their course. I think it’s so important that people coming into the workplace feel welcome and able to thrive, it’s a huge passion of mine and it’s that area of my work that has led me to become a mentor.

Outside of work I take advantage of living in a city by going to the theatre, comedy, gigs and exhibitions. I also love reading, attempting to play various instruments and planning my next holiday.
