Advertising and Marketing Career Insight Day in partnership with Bloom x IPG Mediabrands
The advertising and media landscape is made up of uniquely intertwined businesses creating an ecosystem that delivers value for clients. In 2024, an estimated 65% of UK companies (3.5 million) spent £66.6 billion advertising their goods and services to help grow their businesses. On average, £1 spent on advertising generates a profit ROI of £4.11 for medium-large businesses and £1.89 for micro small businesses. Advertising works!
The BelEve x Bloom AdLand Tour is an opportunity to learn and discover how advertising is created, produced, sold, and delivered. We will kick off the day at the Advertising Association – the UK trade body for the ad industry – where we will hear from a leading recruiter on how to land your first role. Thereafter, we will hit the road and visit a leading independent media agency, a social first tech platform, an award-winning creative agency, and a media sales powerhouse. All of whom will share their career experiences and provide a deep dive as to how their organisations work. After a busy day, we will end at DCM offices where they will show a private screening of a movie.
