January – Legacy, Sisterhood, and Transformations
January marked the beginning of an extraordinary year, filled with moments of growth and empowerment. We celebrated the legacy of those who paved the way for us, embracing the power of sisterhood to uplift each other. Together, we witnessed incredible transformations and set the stage for a year of positive change.
February – The Month of Love and Sisterhood
Love and sisterhood were at the forefront in February as we continued to empower women and young children. Collaborations with renowned beauty brands Shiseido and Nars brought a touch of glamour to our mission. Through our initiatives, we spread love and support, fostering a community where every individual felt seen and valued.
March – International Women’s Day and Beyond
March was a month of celebration, as we honoured International Women’s Day and participated in the WOW Global Festival. We took part in impactful panels on finance, breaking the cycle, and maintaining equity in our careers.
April – Embracing Change and Growth
With the arrival of a new season, April symbolised fresh beginnings and growth. Our partnership with Deliveroo brought insightful career opportunities to our community through a Career Insights Day. In addition, our Shiseido mentoring program connected young girls with inspiring role models, fostering a sense of empowerment and guidance.

June – Mommy’s Day Out Competition and Self-Care Success
In June, we hosted the Mommy’s Day Out Competition, giving mothers a chance to win free spaces for their daughters on our courses. Additionally, we launched The Younger Chapter, a program dedicated to empowering young girls and helping them navigate life’s challenges.
July and August – The Summer of Love
Throughout July and August, love was in the air! We celebrated the Summer of Love with various events and activities that promoted unity, kindness, and compassion. It was a time for our community to come together and spread positivity.
September – Back to School
As September rolled around, we supported children going back to school. We provided resources, guidance, and encouragement to ensure a smooth transition. Our goal was to empower young minds and set them up for success in their academic journey.
October – Celebrating Black History and Women in Business
A bumper month of celebration and recognition. Marsha Powell (MCIPD) spoke at UK Black Business Week where we celebrated entrepreneurs, graduates and organisations.
Our team took part in The WOW Foundation‘s speed mentoring event as part of #dayofthegirl. And we launched our partnership with GirlBE Club, and partnered with #FestivaloftheGirl to run a confidence and empowerment workshop.
The Bloom UK x Amazon Ads marketing Career Insight Day and our half-term activities on ‘Embracing Difference through sisterhood’ was a great end to Black History month.
November – Ending Gender-Based Violence
We continued to raise awareness against gender-based violence and sexual harassment by attending the MayorofLondon‘s VRU event and partnered with Lewisham Council to run an online “It is That Deep” session to educate and empower individuals in our community.
With The EstΓ©e Lauder Companies Inc. we supported the launch of their 2024 apprenticeship cohort.
December – Gift a Mentor and Transform Lives
As the year came to a close, we launched a special campaign called “Gift a Mentor.” This initiative aimed to provide mentorship opportunities to young girls, transforming their lives and the communities they belong to. By donating your time or money, you can make a lasting impact and be part of something truly meaningful.
