Example description: I am born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I plan on pursing a career in public health to help make a difference in women’s health. Specifically, I want to decrease the maternal mortality rate in minority communities. I am going to get to my goal by earning a Masters of Public Health degree and actively working in the community to always help out and learn the specific problems to solve. But while doing this, I will also continue to help my peers with resources and use my skills to help them as well.
