Mentor (2019-2021)

Candice Vetter was born in Durban, South Africa.

She started modelling at a young age, featuring on the front cover of magazines, working on major advertising campaigns and fashion shows.  Once she finished college, she decided she wanted a new challenge and took a gap year from studying and travelled to London.  She arrived in London aged 18 years old and didn’t know anyone, she was in the big city away from friends and family and she was forced to become independent and survive.  Her first move after doing some travelling was to enrol on a management accounting degree.

Candice finally qualified with the Charted Institute of Management Accounting qualification and began her professional career working as a management accountant.  She then landed a job in Financial Services working for the UK Financial Controller of AON. She has also worked in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, which has given her the opportunity to work on IT, regulatory, finance and organisational transformation projects.

Candice has many hobbies which she is passionate about one of them is filmmaking. She has worked as a film producer on two feature films shot in London, with high profile cast and crew.  This then led to her producing her own documentary on successful South African entrepreneurs, which she sold to an airline to include in their inflight entertainment programming.

Real estate investing is another of Candice’s passions and she has built a property portfolio in London.

Candice is a believer in β€œnever ending constant improvement”.
