There’s a conversation happening right now in school corridors, in bedroom mirrors, in group chats that go quiet at midnight — and it’s the one most girls are having completely alone.
About confidence. About friendship that shifts without warning. About not quite knowing who you are when everything around you seems to be changing faster than you can keep up. About social media that makes you feel both connected and completely invisible at the same time.
At BelEve, we’ve been listening to those conversations for years. And we know what girls need — not another lesson, not another programme that talks at them, but a space where they can actually talk. Where they feel seen. Where the things they’re carrying can be set down, even just for an afternoon.
That’s why we’re launching BelEve In Her Space.
What Is BelEve In Her Space?
BelEve In Her Space is a safe, facilitated community for girls aged 11–16 across South London.
It’s not a workshop. It’s not a class. It’s a space built around the understanding that girls grow best in community — when they’re given permission to be honest, to be imperfect, and to be heard.
From June 2026, BelEve In Her Space becomes a regular, ongoing girls’ group a place girls can return to, build friendships within, and grow through.
But it starts on Tuesday 27th May, with our first event: Snack & Yap.
Snack & Yap: Where It All Begins
Snack & Yap is exactly what it sounds like.
Good snacks. Real conversation. No scripts, no agenda, no pressure to perform. Just girls, coming together to talk about the things that actually matter to them guided gently by the BelEve team.
We’ll be talking about:
- Confidence and how to hold onto it when everything is working against you
- Friendships how they form, how they change, and how to navigate them
- Social media and the pressure it puts on how you see yourself
- Identity figuring out who you are and who you want to become
- And whatever else the girls in the room want to bring
Every girl who comes to Snack & Yap becomes part of the founding cohort of BelEve In Her Space — first access to the June group, and first membership of a community that’s being built for them.
The event is free. Registration is required to save your spot.
Why We Built This
BelEve was founded on a simple belief: that every girl deserves a space where she is genuinely seen.
Not managed. Not guided towards someone else’s idea of who she should be. Seen for who she already is, and supported towards who she’s becoming.
For years, we’ve watched girls arrive at our programmes carrying weight they’ve never had anywhere to put down. Carrying questions they’ve never been given space to ask. And we’ve watched what happens when you give them that space — the conversations that open up, the connections that form, the quiet shift in how a girl holds herself when she finally feels like she belongs somewhere.
BelEve In Her Space is the permanent home for that work. A regular, consistent, trusted community for girls in South London starting this June.
For Parents
We know that finding the right space for your daughter isn’t easy.
She might not tell you she needs it. She might say she’s fine when she’s not. But you know — the way parents always know — when something is being carried silently.
BelEve In Her Space is facilitated by the experienced BelEve team, in a safe and structured environment. It’s trauma-informed, girl-centred, and built around the development needs of 11–16 year olds specifically.
Snack & Yap on 27th May is a low-commitment starting point. Come along, let your daughter see what it feels like, and make the decision together. No pressure. No obligation.
But if she leaves the room different from how she arrived lighter, warmer, like she found something she didn’t know she’d been looking for that’s what BelEve In Her Space is for.
