Jo Williams
Marketing & Communications , Warner Bros
Mentor (2019-2021)

With over 15 years at Warner Bros. I have been fortunate to work with some amazing and inspiring people and to have worked in 5 different marketing and business development roles across the company. I had always a dream to work in an International business role and even though at the beginning of my career I wasn’t always clear how this would come about, through seizing new opportunities and developing new skills along the way it happened.

Training and development programmes have helped me to understand both my strengths and weaknesses and usually I have learnt the most from facing the most difficult situations. As a leader recognising how to make the most of others strengths and empowering them to make decisions means that we work in a better environment.  Vulnerability is the twenty-first century word in leadership, and with that being honest and genuine means that you can survive and thrive even in the most stressful situations. And enjoying what you do really does help!
