Lani is a 22-year-old female photographer located in the Midlands who specializes in event and portrait photography. She learnt to transform her passion into a job as a creative from an early age. She began shooting nightlife events in her hometown of Nottingham when she was 18 years old.
“βI used to bring my camera to any parties/nightclubs I went to so I could capture content while still having fun with my friends. It was then that I discovered my passion for event photography.“
This led to her photographing the likes of Aitch, Charlie Sloth, M Huncho, and other artists at festivals and clubs around the Midlands. As well as working around the UK, she also worked in Malia, Crete, where she was the in-house photographer for two of the island’s most exclusive clubs.
Lani does a lot of portrait photography in addition to shooting events. She perfected her portrait photography abilities while studying photography at Birmingham City University, where she had access to high-end facilities. As a result, she has worked with a variety of creative directors, fashion and beauty companies.
Lani gets her inspiration from anything and everything and thrives off capturing perfect moments. Her top priorities are capturing the essence of the occasion and being innovative.Β Β
