Hey, it’s Marsha, the CEO of BelEve, wishing you a Happy International Women’s Month! Over the last couple of weeks, I have been a guest speaker on several Podcasts and the infamous question has been, why did you start BelEve? The answer is because I wanted to make a real difference in the lives of girls and young women and give them a drop of the magic my mother left behind. I wanted to create a safe space for our community to be supported, gain new opportunities, and experiences. I wanted to be an ally and engage in issues affecting girls and young women to be apart of the change and the good fight for equality.

Today we choose to challenge gender inequality and the barriers that hinder girls and young women from believing everything is possible and dreaming big. BelEve’s Doubling Up strategy is committed to impacting 2000 girls and young women in 2021 through our sisterhood movement, connecting over 500 young women aged 16-21 with amazing role models. Our mentors are committed to dropping down the ladder for the next generation of female leaders on our BelEve In Her Success mentoring programme, in order to extend our young women’s possibilities and increase their social mobility. If you also choose to challenge gender inequalities, there are so many ways you can get involved in BelEve. Get Involved today!
