The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25th November to 10th December.

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is also known as White Ribbon Day. In partnership with Lewisham Council, BelEve are running a 90 minute, It is that Deep, online training session on 6th December at 11am.

The aim is to raise awareness around Violence against women and girls (VAWG) and to encourage local support for women experiencing violence.

The intention is that this demonstration of solidarity will also encourage men to think about their own behaviour and, if necessary, seek help to change. What you will take away from the workshops:

– An understanding of sexual harassment
– An understanding of consent
– Preventing/dealing with online abuse
– Be able to identify the different forms of inappropriate sexual advances
– Gain tools to tackle any unwanted conduct of a sexual nature

You can sign up to the event using the form below. You’ll be sent a link to the session nearer the time so please do make sure your email address is entered correctly.
